Good Morning!
Been up awhile, drinking coffee..still get excited about that. Tomorrow we are going on a day trip up north to see the fall leaves, visit apple orchards, and hopefully walk some trails..can't wait. This time last year, we went up north for my son's football game. I drank vodka b4 my husband got home and we left, the would sip any time I could on the 2 hour trip. Avoided everyone at the game..brought along a bottle of Jack n Coke (mostly Jack) for the drive home. Needless to say, I was not able to fully enjoy the trip. Tomorrow I will absorb everything with a clear mind and single vision! I write this to let those on day 1, or 3, or 10, whatever, that being sober is SO much better. I tell myself each morning...You can't do ANYTHING you want when sober, but you can do nothing when your drinking! Hope everyone has a good, easy day!!
