Christianity on Alcohol Usage
We have Christian denomination here that do not drink alcohol at all, many perceive intoxication wrong – other have a rather relaxed view on this.
The more puritan Christian do not drink, dance, smoke or play cards.
I can find arguments for booth views in the Bible I think.

I don't think a drink here or there is an issue. But I think the way I drink is defenetly sin Not only is it not in alignment with Gods word, it separates me from God. Hard to pray while you are black out drunk. I feel great guilt when I do what I know I should not do. My opinion only.
According to the Old Testament "wine is a mocker, strong drink is raging" then again in the N.T. we read that "a little wine is good for the stomach"....................don't think there are any obligatory writings though,

welcome to SR.
your question has got me wondering...and especially since it's your first post:
how would any prohibition by "the bible" affect you? what difference might it make to you?
what i mean is: if you're wanting/needing/looking to stop drinking, or are concerned about someone else's drinking, how would you see this being different depending on what parts of the bible might say?
