I made it to 50 days - think i'm going to pop with excitement!!!!

Dear All

I have not touched a drop of alcohol for 50 days, I am so damn proud of myself, in fact I'm bloody amazed. Way to go D!!!!

Am beaming from top to bottom, back to front and from the inside out!

Thanks so much for all your supportive replies.

Mirage74 asked how I feel compared to 50 days ago, wow, what a question! I feel like a different person, not wallowing in self-pity, shame or remorse. Instead I'm really enjoying finding out who sober me is, what I like, what I don't like and I'm kind of starting to like myself!!!!! Hang on a minute, did I just say that? Yes I did....... I've spent so long hating myself that this is a very new feeling and I much prefer feeling like this.

I'm even starting to feel happiness, when I wake up in the mornings now I have a spring in my step and I smile.

I'm feeling bloody great!!!!
