Murrieta / Temecula area
 

I'll go to a meeting tomorrow. I've basically just been eating lightly, hydrating (thank God for PowerAde Zero Grape flavor) and taking baths. I have a mountain of laundry on the couch that I had the shaky energy to wash, but can't bring myself to fold it and put it away. I live in the Temecula area of Southern California, so if anyone knows of a good sponsor in this area I am open to it.

I have been told to select a sponsor with care. Some are good, some not so good they tell me. The AA guy I spoke with on the phone said that since I am straight, get a male sponsor. Second, all because a guy has 25 years, doesn't mean he will be a good sponsor. Some old-timers are not people-persons he said. You'd think they would be, but, people are people - - - some just have bad attitudes regardless of their time sober. I just want a nice guy around my age with some time and who will be available.
