This might help you say no to alcohol...
I read this in today's paper so found the online version.
The article on the link below doesn't apply directly to alcohol but could certainly be applied and I can see how it would be helpful.

How funny!! I was just reading the same article less than an hour ago in the magazine supplement and thought to myself what a useful way to approach lots of things, but particularly sobriety. Good stuff!

It seems like a good idea to me.
Saying "I can't" makes me feel like I am being told to do something and makes me think: "We'll, why can't I?!" This makes me think negatively.
Saying "I don't" makes me feel as if I am in control and not like I'm being told to do something by someone else. This makes me feel more positive and less pressurised and, to me, makes it easier to say no.
This may help if applied to alcohol.
