Day 2, and feeling good
Day 2, and feeling good
For reasons I don't understand it's day 2 and I feel great. From what I've read day 2 is typically as bad as day 1 if not worse. And from past experience trying to quit that was my experience as well. Along with the lack of sleep I expected to feel like crap but I feel awesome. My hands are shaky but not as bad as yesterday. I managed to keep food down. I'm not sweating.
My normal routine was to wake up hungover at 11am, and start drinking. Today, I was up at 8:30am, I've cleaned my room, took out the trash, swept and mopped, went to get groceries, printed out my resume, all before 10:30. This is the kind of a person I need to be. When I went to Kroger the first thing you see are 40's and deuce cans. For one second I thought about getting one but I have things to do, and a job to find. If I started drinking it would never get done. I know it's early but I'm feeling good about my decision.
