I like what Henry David Thoreau says.
Each day Sobriety gives me yet another opportunity to flush all the waste that was in my life into the toilet and bring everything that is sublime out into the open. Basically, my favorite thing about sobriety have been the moments not of spiritual awakening, but of spiritual bowel movement.

Waking up feeling good.
No guilt.
No fear of drunk driving accidents.
Get along great with my kids now.
Take better care of my dogs.
No more waking up in the throes of withdrawal.
Got my self respect back.

1. I have a new lease on life.
2. Anxiety ? What anxiety ?
3. Every day feels like a gift.
4. Challenging my self now that I don't feel like I'm constantly dying
5. Pushing my self imposed boundaries
6. Pushing back when people cross them
7. Ability to say "no" with zero guilt
8. Ability to say "yes" with full intention to follow through
9. I smile a lot
10. I witness serendipity, synchronicity and miracles. Daily.
11. My heart trusts me again as evidenced by its now gentle beating
12. My meditations are more peaceful
13. Workouts are more fluid
14. The way my daughter looks as me with awe and pride.
15. Ditto husband
16. Ditto friends and family
17. Ditto me
18. My ever expanding relationship with my HP, Mother Earth and my spirit guides
19. Life has opened up a vast amount of possibilities
20. When you no longer feel like you are constantly taking your last breath, suddenly everything feels joyful.
