My turning point..

Obviously the divorce, poor job performance, should a turning point

My binges were changing and how it would impact my body? Normally few days boozing, good night sleey (or attempted) and back on the horse......

I noticed towards the end, i was absent hangovers, but would experience withdrawals which were not as kind and much longer......

Wonder if any else went through this progression......

My last withdrawals, lasted 10 days - previous ones 3-5, so yes, it does get worse
NO WAY do I ever want to go through those again x

I can relate. I was a binge drinker. In the end it didn't feel like I had a normal hangover the next day. I felt physically debilitated, along with horrible anxiety that would last over 24 hours. I'm on day 11. It's getting better but after the last binge it took a good 5 days to feel ok again.

Indenial - I was a binge drinker too.
Gradually, it seemed that I would 'make up' for the days I didn't drink though

Oh yes.

I recall posting a thread once titled something like "Why do the hangovers become different".

It was then that I learned I had made the progressive transition from hangover to withdrawal.

Next stop, morning drink.

Yep, have done the 'morning drink' thing too - just because I woke up and it seemed a 'waste' to leave it

Ughh the morning drink. On weekdays I would have one or two then go to work and not drink all day but if I started my weekend mornings with a drink it would go on all day until passing out at night. not fun it retrospect
