Loved this! I had a similar experience with just the right nurse with just the right words when I was suffering a miscarriage one time. I believe that is how the Universe sends us our angels.

On an aside, when my husband was laid off during the worst part of the recession, I thought the end had come. I was devastated. Three years later, I am happier and at more peace than I have been in probably my whole adult life and the transformation could not have happened without the changes imposed on us. My family is thriving in ways I never thought we would. Believe the cab driver's words, the best IS yet to come!!! Your life is the blue sky, the clouds ALWAYS pass.

The Grand Tapestry.

We are so interwoven, each thread so imperative to the entire fabric. Yet, most often we discard our significance as the sum of the parts being greater than the whole.

Sometimes, when I find myself all insecure and "judgey" ill start sending a blessing to everyone that passes by me. It works like a charm in airports where people are usually freaked out and wonky and uber preoccupied.

You can literally watch the energy of an entire flight change.

Love. It's what's for breakfast.

Like I tell my kids, people are good.
It's great to be reminded.

Great post! So often we draw our water from those chance interactions that restore our faith in humanity. The Dalai Lama once said, our purpose on Earth is to help one another; barring that, at least don't hurt others. I try to live that way. Life can be hard enough without us making it harder for each other.

He's right, of course! It's hokey sounding but when one door closes another opens. Sometimes the worst setbacks reveal new opportunities.
