When I think of how I might act or speak in any given situation, especially one in which I feel that I'm not on the most solid spiritual ground, I sometimes think of some of the people I've known over the years who have truly solid, well-spoken sobriety. Please don't confuse this with choosing personalities over principles. What I mean is that I remember the messages they impart while sharing. Thank you.

I have a few sober 'heroes' too. People I remember for their stand against addiction and the wreckage it causes.
