Day 2, wow, a good nights sleep

I slept 10 hours last night. I mean I really slept, not that wake up every two hours to drink water and take Tylenol because of dehydration, pain and headache. I'm still a little achy and foggy, but I know that will go away. I just need to stay focused and busy today to quell the thoughts and cravings. 5pm will be the real test. I hope everyone has a great Sunday. I'm sure I will be posting again this evening

Good job Jill. Sleep is great for healing. Keep yourself busy when 5pm rolls around. You can do it.

I remember how good those first 'normal' sleeps felt! We have beaten ourselves up so badly - it's great to begin healing from the craziness. Happy for you Jill.

Nice job Jill. I'll be right there with you. It truly is amazing how much we've beaten ourselves up over the years. I'm looking forward to walking into work tomorrow not completely shot. 15 years of drinking and the last five have been the worst. Up and onward! We can do this!

Great advice!

Stick at it Jill....I loved that great sleep feeling in the early days...makes fighting through the urges worth it!

Awesome feeling isn't it? Today is day 7 sober and my sleep has been amazing and seems to get better every night!

Being sober this weekend has been wonderful. Being able to wake up and tackle your day with a positive attitude, while actually being able to get stuff done, has been the best.

I think i'll actually go to work on MOnday feeling refreshed for the first time in years.

Keep up the fight!
