Hi All
Its been a long time since I've been here and I'm glad to be back. 13 years of recovery now. Thank you for the birthday wishes. 66 years young today. I don't think I've been back since my wife passed away from cancer. In fact I lost my mother, father, oldest brother and wife in about 4 years. All to cancer but I never used over it.
Welcome back James, and many congratulations on your birthday and your sobriety date.
I'm sorry for all the tragedy you've had in your life in such a short space of time. And wow...to make it through all that without using. That is an inspiration to us all

Hey James, you are an inspiration to me.
I offer you the following:
My sincere condolences on the losses in your life.
My sincere awe for not using during the difficult times.
My sincere thanks for you coming on here and sharing.
Have a great day. If you ever have time, I would love to read about how you've stayed sober so long. I'm on Day 19 and looking forward to the sober time ahead of me. It's nice to get a glimpse into other's experience.
Best,
Melina
