Cancer battle is ON!!
 

I want to thank all my SR friends for your love & support. This is a helluva journey that I'm beginning. The cancer is bad. But, so am I!! lol
After a lot of crying and begging they are letting me head out of the hospital. Thank GOD! I know that the fight has just begun & I know it's not going to be easy. I'm so grateful that I am able to fight this fight without the booze, & have the love & support of all my family both in my world & in my SR world! You are all so dear to me even though we've never MET face to face. I feel like I can really share myself & my fears with all of you & know that there are no judgments, but, instead a lot of faith, love & hope!
I will keep you all posted, I'm so thrilled to be outta this room. Been here since Tuesday & ready for a hot bath, & to shave my legs & pits. I feel like a BUSH woman! lol

My wife is a 14 yr cancer survivor and in the beginning things looked grim. Take it a day at a time and put your faith in God. Each day is a gift so make the most of today.

Keywierd, what can I say except that I will pray for you (yes, I have a new found belief in God- he,she,it has saved me from so many disasters...). Strange that it took saving me from being "found out" about my drinking ... it takes what it takes. Just know that now, I too will be praying for you, and not feeling like a hypocrite.
