So many things are awesome sober. Sex included. Your real senses are coming back to normal and in the normal state, people enjoy sex a whole lot.
Same goes for just about anything pleasurable you can think about. I still love sleeping sober. Walking through town on a nice sunny day. Listening to music. The list is virtually endless.
So great! If this is something that motivates you to stay sober, go for it! Enjoy! It's the enjoyment that is a great factor in me staying sober as well.

I'm happy it wasn't a "weird topic". But I knew a lot of people would probably relate... just because addiction really BLOCKS those pleasure receptors. and when you're used to those being gone for so long, it's like almost having sex for the first time again. haha

And I know what you mean, video games are awesome sober because I can actually pay attention! I'm happy I can actually nerd out now and waste my days off playing Guild Wars 2. :X

Imabuleva and fightinglioness I know what you mean about the video games. I have actually gotten back into them after years of trying to play drunk and giving up. I just started playing the HD remake of The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker and forgot just how enjoyable it can be to blow a few hours getting lost in something enjoyable.

it's just awesome being able to NATURALLY feel high from acts like that. and naturally makes you happy too. not fake happiness from drugs.
