Day 13 and just had a craving, but its o.k.
Day 13 and just had a craving, but its o.k.
Ok, it's Friday (trigger), my daughter just moved out (trigger), I'm tired from work (trigger)....of course my addictive voice is raging! Its o.k. though because I know to come here and read posts until the craving is gone and so far it works for me. I am going to pick up sushi on the way home instead and take it easy. Hope you all have a safe weekend.
Or some spicy tuna.
I have been fighting long and hard against AV today, but I find that reading posts from people who are detoxing helps me a lot. I got off easy (without any notable physical detox), but might not get off so easy next time if I started drinking again. Reading what other people are suffering through helps me cling tight to the certainty that I don't want to go through that.
Hope your AV lays off you soon and that the sushi is delicious.

Thanks for the support. I feel great this morning. Waking up sober. Enjoyed my sushi, got assortment including spicy tuna and tempura. Yummy. Looking forward to another sober day. On my way to the grocery store...(find that I am really enjoying my food) but trying to keep a balance of healthy and not so healthy in the mix. Also, a beautiful day her in VA. Love the cooler weather.
17 weeks and I spent yesterday craving.... hello PMS......
I know now, it always passes.... always. cravings just lose their power after a while, but they also remind me that alcoholism just sits there waiting for me
