Have you tried outpatient treatment? What makes you drink? Is it the withdrawl symptoms?

I'm with you whatever you decide but you seem uncertain. I guess what I'm wondering is it because your scared or because its not what you want. Only you know how you feel - only you know what you need - we will only ever know what you tell us and even then it's only our perceptions - you have to do what's right for you.

Hi AW,
I can identify with your struggles. Just moved to Boston and I've been back at the bottle. My last drink ever was last night at around 8 pm. The health insurance at the position that brought me to Boston hasn't kicked in so I'm just gritting through the detox, which so far is pretty horrible.

I'd be in a detox center now if there were beds open. Feels like the worst of it may be over, or at least I hope. Hang in there!
