New to this

Does a person have to be consistently sober to participate in these forums? In AA, the desire to stop drinking is enough, even if a person is not always successful. Is it the same here?

Welcome Linda. This site is great for support and advice. I relapsed several times before finally getting sober.

to the family! I couldn't stay sober for over a year after joining but eventually got the message and quit for good. The support here was a big factor in quitting. I hope we can help you as much as this site has helped me.
