Day 5, I was literally busy looking for change

By day 5 I thought I'd be all better. But I'm not except for the fact that I haven't drank....but what's the point when you still feel like crap?

Hang in there JJ. It gets better from here!

Years of abuse to our bodies won't magically disappear in just a few days unfortunately. 5 days is great progress though, and you are most likely getting over the hump of the initial withdrawals. It definitely gets better.. Don't give up!

It really does get better, hang in there!

Yes, try to be patient and I hope you feel better soon.

It will get better! I didn't feel so wonderful on day five either. Focus on the progress you've made. Day five is excellent! Just relax, drink lots of water, and don't be too hard on yourself. Change will come.

Not sure if meant the post to be as philosophic as it turned out, but that is great idea. Looking for change(or a change or changes) is something that one would do after expecting to see it. Which means that something did change , so good on you intentional or not:)
