New and Looking for a Change
Hello there,
I'm a 23 year old male in Texas, and i've finally decided to stop just telling myself that I was going to stop drinking and begin chatting with others out there. My family has a pretty intense history of addiction, mainly with alcohol, and so all reason points to the fact that I myself should abstain from use. However, I have only recently begun reflecting on this issue. Given many social situations that i'm in, i've done my best with the "moderation" attempts, yet while it works sometimes I continue finding myself in the position of wanting to achieve total abstinence.
I look forward to posting and chatting on SR, and to a future in which alcohol is not even a consideration.
