There are good days and bad days. Today is an obsessive thoughts day. I'm at work so do not have access to booze but man am I having a battle in my head. I'm going to try and hit the gym on lunch to get some of this icky feeling out.

My plan is to head straight to a meeting after work. My head is screaming no but I have to force it. I'm having one of those moments. I will pray and hope that this meeting helps calm the crazy in my head.

You can make it Janis. Come back here for more support if you need it, but staying busy with exercise and a meeting is a good plan.

Resist the urge. Ignore the 'voice' in your head that says to drink. You can get thru this and come out stronger.

Ever use AVRT? I found if worked well for me. Really took the power away from that voice.

No I haven't Duane1. Where do I find more information about this?

Right now if I was told to paint my face red and run around the office to keep my thoughts sane I would. LOL. I know that they are alcoholism in it's purest form so anything to build up my arsenal against this disease is welcome.
