Ah, that AV talking again. Settle down some, we are on your side. Sexually?? Sure you want our support? Tell me where you can find a bunch of strangers, in your life, who care about you and your sobriety, for no reason at all? I mean no disrespect, but you really should be serious and ready for the fight back to sobriety. TF

Never heard the expression but it sounds like it destroys the willpower of anything alcoholic by suggesting implicitly that you are not in control. I think as soon as such words are used, the self is gone and the alcohol has won. I won't ever use words like alcoholic voice, I am me even if the alcohol has taken it's toll.

You control it - that's the point. You recognise the life out of it and refuse to act on it. No matter what. But this is all pointless because we can all tell you from now till next year on how we managed it and what worked for us but the fact is still that you need medical help to detox first and foremost.

You have been drinking for a long time and without much sleep. You need to find a way to detox safely first and foremost. IMO
Secondly there are lots of recovery methods on this board but, abstinence is the key in using any of them. It sounds like you are in a dark place right now so it would probably be pretty tough to sort through any of them but, when your ready.... check them all out.
Anyway, I wish you nothing but the best of luck. I am sure that at this point the days are just running together and you are pretty sick.
