That's the thing... I know I'm damaging my body but no evidence so far (I've been in the hospital for detox I don't even know how many times) my liver enzymes are normal, blah blah. I think alcohol has affected my mind more than my body. So far.
Yeah, I totally need to brush my teeth Celticgirl!

Day 3 I had auditory hallucinations and had slept two hours in three days. I got through that, you can get through this.

Yes, I've been through that and visual hallucinations as well. My microwave sang choir music to me once. I'm not there now, I know how to medically detox myself at this point And I'm also noticing I have no more time to run to the liquor store. And the desire went down significantly since being on this site. Thanks all

I took tons of vitamins. Showered a lot. Drank as much water as I could stomach. Walked the dogs in the rain. And prayed to my guardian angels. Laid in the grass somehow grounded me and relaxed me. Hope this helps!

Jaime, if you would have went to the liquor store tonight, you'd be starting all over tomorrow in a brain fog. Well done on holding out.

And your liver enzymes may be normal, but do you really want to live your life in a mental haze? Personally I like to have a brain, and alcohol was trying to take that from me. If I could be smart and drink heavily, I would sadly probably drink myself to death. Thank goodness I can't.

Onto the next day... we all know I'm not sleeping tonight. What do I do with all this nervous, senseless energy?

I know... it's so sick, but now that I know there's no option I'm sadly happy? Anyway as for the brain fog, I hope it get's better because I think I've gone "full ******"

Drink a lot of water, eat something healthy if you have food, take vitamins if you have them, and just lay down. You wouldn't be able to sleep drunk either. You may pass out, but we all know that's not sleeping and you'd just feel like hell tomorrow.

Got any Elmer's and a box of toothpicks. Betcha can't make a ten inch tower
Find and count all the change in the house. Spill it out and do it again!
Anything to get through you got this and day four will be easier way easier than another day one or two or even worse another day three
Great job waiting out the store hours you go girl

I think I should rename this thread - "i got through day 3 but what now? All my problems are just coming more into light and you all are hopefully going to help me get through this because so far you all have and I am truly grateful". Too long, but that's the way I feel now
