I did. I am not sure if it helped but then there isn't meant to be a miraculous sudden change. It is more subtle than that. It seems to be prescribed a lot in the UK.

I've been on it a couple of weeks now - I've been doing ok - I had a tough weekend ill be honest but it was a lot to do with my mindset I think. Also only took one dose one day till night then I remembered - I'm not even sure how it works if its something that works say for a few hours like taking a pain killer would give 4hours relief then obviously you need more again - or if its something that builds up in your system like an SSRI I'm honestly not sure.

Sorry I'm not much help lol I've probably given you more questions. Maybe some others will have more helpful replies for you. I will say that I read a lot of amazing reviews for it when I googled. A lot of people highly recommend it.

I've been taking it for a month and a half. Gave me crazy stomach issues and spent a lot of time in the bathroom at first I guess it was working, you don't really notice anything different as far as mood. Have to take it 3 times a day which is kinda lame though. I say go with what the dr says

I had the stomach issues as well for about a week I'd say maybe more.

I took it a year ago when I tried to quit. I have to say I didn't notice any effect at all. Just me.

This link has more info than the first one I posted - first was just user reviews.

I've done Naltrexone, Campral and a myriad other combinations of vitamins and supplements that were supposed to help with cravings etc. None of them worked for me.

But then the real thing missing in the equation was an absolute and total commitment on my part not to drink whatever the circumstance. So that might have had something to do with it......

I was on it two yearS. Not sure it did anything but it did not hurt and Ive been sober for over 3 years. Even if there is a placebo effect it is worth a shot

I tried it for a while - didn't work for me at all, like sugar pills. Also tried Vivitrol which Is a monthly butt injection, didn't work either. Guess I was looking for a silver bullet. I thought getting stuck in the a$$ was an alternative to a real commitment. I hear you Natty.
