im officially 48 hours sober but was close to picking a beer up tonight but its ok I didn't.how long till the thought of beer disapears

A little bit longer than 2 days

I drank for years - it was the central thing of my life - it took a while for me not to think about drinking anymore.

It take a little patience commitment and effort - it's not easy to stay sober.
That's why support is important John.
