52 days today and feeling great!
Being sober has felt really good for the most part. I have had only a few cravings in the past couple of weeks. More like thinking about it than craving really. I have made some healthy decisions that I am proud of. I asked my unemployed, still using alcoholic b/f to move out of my home and made sure he took all of his things and I took his house key back. I told him I would still be open to dating but not living together and not while he is drinking. I have set some boundaries with my daughter and more recently confronted HER b/f and set boundaries with him. I HATE confrontation so none of this has been easy but I am so proud of myself for taking care of myself. I am really enjoying my group therapy. I go to AA usually at least 1 x a week...and more if I an not too tired. That's it. Grateful for today. Have a good weekend everyone! |
