Hi Everybody
Looks like I finally found the right place. This is what I call an active forum. I just came back to the fellowship after about a 6 year relapse. Take my word for it, it aint any better out there!
What did I learn? The hard way?---that it is not the last drink or drug that gets me--it's that first one that the addict inside me trys to make me believe I can handle. How simple. Well I guess it takes what it takes.
Heck-I'm just glad to be using up some air today.
I'm once aging working on a first step--writing stuff down always makes me feel like I am accomplisihing something ( even though I get obsessed about being obsessive)
. This time I am going to work the steps like my life depends on it--cause it does.
I hope to get to know you guys soon.

Hi Silverback..welcome to Sober Recovery, so happy you found us, and congrats on chosing sobriety once again.
