Two Weeks!

I made it two weeks!

Yay! I feel so much better. Every day is a little bit better, mostly (I've had a few mornings where I was pretty beat from insomnia the night before).

I never imagined how much the booze was wearing me down.

I was a pint of vodka per day drinker (at least).

I also think that giving up the weed (I smoked a little more than an eighth of very strong hydro every week) also really is helping me. I just feel sharper... clearer than I have in a very, very long time.

So last night I watched Allen Carr's videos, listened to his audio book... and I quit smoking cigs!

I'll be 24 hours into it very soon, and I feel confident that I can keep it up! I'm ready to be a non-smoker, just like I'm an ex-drinker now.

The mindset is similar to quitting booze (very similar), so it doesn't seem like that much of a stretch. It's harder (for me) to quit smoking than to give up the drink, but giving up alcohol has been relatively easy for me since I finally set my mind to it.

Anyway. Two weeks. I can't believe it... I'm so glad.

That's awesome KIT. I also used Allen Carr to help me stop smoking, dope the first time and then cigarettes and it was sooo easy. Kudos to you x
