Don't hesitate to see a Dr if you think you need to, tho, ok?

Like I said you'll find a lot of support and ideas here - you're not alone - we get it.

Read around and post as much as you like - there's a lot of approaches here

Ok, can you try and drink some water in between, a bit of damage limitation? At the moment its a huge massive mountain to climb, but you are here at the foot of it, baby steps...we are all here, you arent alone x

You're scared because you should be. That's your rational voice attempting to over-power your addict voice to make you realize what you're doing to yourself before you spiral further out of control. I ignored those feelings (using more alcohol) for years, like a lot of addicts do.

My advice (if you want to stop drinking) would be to go to your doctor and tell him/her the full extent of your alcohol problem and what effect it is having on your life and go from there.

I hope things get better for you.

If you're still drinking seeing your Dr as soon as possible might give you some tools to stop Chyna

If you don't have a Dr you can go to the ER/casualty?

Get to a doctor, be honest about your drinking for this time and you may be surprised at the avenues of help that open up. This site is one and there are lots more. As has been said, most importantly you must want to stop and to change your future.
It could be bleak if you choose alcohol over help.
God bless.

The promise is that in time it WILL get better

Chyna, please please PLEASE do not try to do this without medical attention. It will be ok. I promise you are not the first woman to have drunk away a week.
Your daughter needs you. Please be wise and seek medical attention immediately.

I don't know if you know this (I did not until recently) but alcohol withdrawal can be deadly. Moreso then heroin. Yes, you might be one of the lucky ones, but with the length of time you have been drinking straight, chances are you will need professional detox.

From what I understand , it's much more comfortable not to mention safer !

Please be well.

Hey chyna...do what you must. As everyone has said. Please see a doc. Seek a rehab facility. It's over. Come back...come back to life.

It's never too late, until we're dead. how old is she?

If you take steps to get sober then you can start to show you are capable of looking after her and take steps to getting her back. It's a great incentive to get sober

Nothing will change if you keep drinking.at least she's in a safe place for her now.

did you see your doc?

No, no, no. Not too late. One step at a time. Focus on getting well. Your daughter will respect you for taking this on.

I fear you are about to go off the deep end. Stay on SR instead and talk. Please!
