Made it through my first full day
Made it through my first full day sober after a two week bender, vacations have always been my weekness. Was fatigued all day and then bloated, not much for appatite either. In the evening watched tv with my wife, felt anxious, restless and couldnt keep from chewing my nails. Looks like it will be another nite with the sweats. I can do this, looking to get that first week out of the way, thanks for your suppor SR!

Congratulations L4. " I can do this." That's a good jumping off place, positive thinking along with self honesty certainly are helpful. There probably will be difficult moments but these pass in a few minutes. A thing that helped me was that if I didn't pick up the first drink I would NOT have to get sober AGAIN. BE WELL
