Just a quick check in on day 7... It's been a roller coaster week, but I'm still sober and fully intent on staying this way! One day at time is definitely the way for me as I seem to have a good day followed by a bad day, today has been mostly good :0)

I plan on going to the doctors tomorrow and asking for a counceller as i think I have a fair few issues that need dealing with so as I don't need to mask them with booze.

Hope everyone's doing good and if your not really hope tomorrow will be a better day for you.

Thanks guys your support really is appreciated really can't quite believe I made through the weekend my first sober one in many years. Keep thinking back to how my drinking career started... At 13 my first ever drink was half a bottle of wine with my best mate.. Ended up in hospital for a week with a badly broken leg lol you'd have thought that would of taught me a lesson.. I did say at the time I'm never drinking again, the leg healed and my alcoholism started! But it stops now!
