The animal rescue is back open and I've just taken in two of the cutest EVER kittens - a brother and sister. Have a sneaky feeling that these two will be permanently staying 
I couldn't have done these 25 days without this site - I've proved that over and over in the past 4 years, when 10 days was a minor miracle.

Zoe, I built a shelter on my property and take in feral cats to socialize....
I was thinking about it the other day. They come in petrified, shaking, cringing at life. Those who are willing to take a risk living differently are the ones that reap the rewards the fastest. Great analogy to us huh?
I think those 2 little kittens just hit the Zoe lottery!

Thanks SO much for all your comments - I was stunned to see them all
Just back from the Vet - they've both been given a clean bill of health but are (as I knew) a bit underweight. I'll soon sort that out
I promise to reply to all in the morning (its 8pm here) - really need a bath and an early night.

That is great Zoe! Congrats on 25 days and the new kitties.
Also don't forget to give yourself a big pat on the back too. Ultimately it is you who keeps you sober
