Day 3 and going until Saturday...
I've joined a walking group and am going on a 10 mile hike on Saturday . I'm gonna attempt to stay sober til then at least. I've been in training the last few days and am feeling good! If I can manage this it will be the longest I've gone for a while.
I'm nervous about the walk, I'm not good at meeting new people but what have I got to lose?

Hi james18, what have you got to lose? Nothing.... just be yourself, don't think too far ahead thats how we end up tripping up....for now with the drink its one day, one hour if needs be, at a time, you're making progress looking to meet new people, Dont let that be an excuse to drink, rather a reason to be sober and for people to see the real you. From a fellow Yorkshire lass =)
