I have heard in the past that we are either growing or regressing. There is no status quo so to speak. When I read this daily reflection I have a better understanding that our continued work with others is essential for our growth and serenity. Finding the peace through recovery isn’t a one shot deal. It’s ongoing and a daily discipline and a new way of life. A life that includes helping others. I think this is a gift that we can help others with the same problems we face and at the same time being helping ourselves grow and become healthy productive people!

Thanks for this. Yes my mum always says "a problem shared is a problem halved". It's true. We are not islands, that's why we need each other. It's good to have time alone and time with others.
