The Truth Always Comes Forth
A few weeks ago there was an issue of honesty in the group meeting I attend. I "called out" person A after the group was informed by person B that person A had relapsed. I became the "bad one" for calling attention to the matter. I found it to be really difficult to share the brutal aspects of my life, if others are going to be fake. I was offered advice by others to call both of the women out, but I could not find meaningful purpose in doing that. Obviously, neither one of them are being honest, so what could be learned or gained by keeping the ball rolling?
Well, it did not take long. I did not have to speak a word. The tensions had grown between the two women, and today, they finally broke. Turns out not only did person A admit her relapse, after just stating she had 10 months clean, but person B was the one that sold the drugs to her in the first place! They are both dirty! I am just glad the air has finally been cleared and the truth told. Maybe now, we can get honesty back in the group!
