Welcome, Joddrury. No, I've never tried it, but I've heard of it. Is it something you're looking into? Would you like to tell us your story?

It's good to have you here in any event.

response to campral

So far it is day 2 on Campral. the thought of taking a drink makes me sick. I hope this continues! I will keep in touch and if there are any questions of me, please ask! I'm also going to try hypnotherapy. Many of us have had traumas that cause us to cope by drinking. I've my share! I did EMDR before and it helped me get over one of my physical tragedies, and recommend it!

This is a fight for your life and at any cost it is worth it!

I'm on campral 333mg tablets - two tablets - 3 times a day. I wouldn't say I feel sick at the thought of drinking but I have no cravings. I maybe entertain the idea in my head but it never gets more than a thought. Like 'I think ill have a ham sandwich' then deciding 'nah I really don't fancy a ham sandwich' lol it's as pretty easy and trivial as that for me.

Hi,
I used it three years ago, and it totally knocked down any cravings, and I used to get BAD cravings!! I think it is a wonderful drug. Very few side effects, except some intestinal ones, if you know what I mean.
Best of luck,
Nancy

I've been using it for almost a month and apart fromgoing to the Toilet more lol it's a miracle.

I have zero desire to drink I did once because I was bored and it was horrible I didn't enjoy it at all.

if you are serious about stopping I say get on them because they really help.

everyone is differnt of course but they are worth the try.

I don't know what they cost where you are here they cost about 35 bucks per month which is worth it.
