No Buzz Feels As Awesome as Sobriety Is....
I heard a fitness buff say "Nothing tastes as good as thin feels".....
This has been my sober experience--No buzz feels as awesome as sobriety IS.
Today, for me, this is especially true. Without haze, I don't just have ideas, I act on them. I don't just hear my intuition, I listen to it--and better yet, I TRUST it. I am not overwhelmed by fear, I am overwhelmed by all the good, happy, productive plans I have!
The buzz is just not worth it. I am not willing to trade my soul.
