Back again, but it's different this time
Hello to all! In 2010 I joined this forum because I decided to quit drinking. That lasted for only nine months as I did not do anything at all to strengthen my recovery, include refusing to quit using drugs, among other things. Three years later, after starting to drink again (more heavily), going through a traumatic breakup with my ex-fiance, and continuing to use drugs, I hit an emotional rock bottom and checked myself into rehab. Best decision I've ever made. My new sobriety date is 6/28/13 (yesterday was 60 days!! booyah) and I am off of everything other than doctor prescribed meds. I feel better than I have for as long as I can remember and am really working at changing my life and attitude so that I can live the rest of my life with a clear mind and happy! I've been practicing a lot of happy as of late and it feels damn good.
