Just for today.

Dear me.

As you wake up and your feet hit the floor, remember that just for today you can do this. You are a blessing to this world so allow yourself to shine today. Do not worry with tomorrow, it is not here and not what matters. Today you were granted the gift of life and all that comes with it. Your day may be hard as sometimes they are but you are never alone. I will always be here for you. As you climb into bed and reflect on the day should a tear fall from your eye, know I am here for you. I understand your struggles, I feel your pain, I love you, and I have faith in you. There may be times that you feel alone, just know I am always here for you and when you wake in the morning, read my letter to you and remember that you can do this. I will help you.

Love Always, Your Heart.

This is a letter I wrote to myself to get me through hard times. Maybe it will help otgers the way it helped me. Hugs and prayers that just for today all of your burdens are lighter.

'Just for today' is how I'm doing it - sometimes it's even as tiny as 'just for the next 30minutes' you can't take in the whole picture at once it would just overwhelm you. I like your wee letter positive self talk is so important - and be kind to yourself

The letter your wrote is brilliant. I am sure it will inspire you to achieve many more days of sobriety as it has done me.
