Starting my day over.

Today has been awful. Nothing particularly bad happened, I've just felt like crap all day and the only thing I've been wanting to do was use/drink(and those beers in my dad's fridge look mighty tempting).

I've been basically moping around feeling sorry for myself and then I remembered something someone told me at a meeting: "You can start your day over whenever you need to."

So that's what I'm doing. I refuse to sit in my own sh*t so I'm making myself some coffee at 5:00 PM to officially start the day over.

I hope everyone is enjoying this beautiful weekened sober!

Me too.

Don't drink. Just don't.

Best to you.

That's a good positive decision! I won't give you advice since I am new to here and not drinking but I will tell you I feel a whole lot better about myself when I don't drink.

No need to feel like a victim or that your being punished. You are making a choice to be sober and that's a gift you are giving yourself. Hang in there and you will feel better!
