Birthday Soberness
Hello All,
Day 2 on this stint of soberness. This is my second sober birthday and I am sad to say I relapsed a few days ago but it once again showed me why I quit in the first place. It was a nice day, I still have the sweats like crazy and the anxiety but it is getting better. I could keep some food down today. This is my year and I am excited to wake up feeling great. Also, just took a pregnancy test (we aren't trying but we would be ecstatic and there are signs) which came out in an error so I will try again tomorrow morning. I have so many things in life to be happy about... my career, my wonderful man, my two dogs, a loving family and so many good friends. I need to focus on that and not slipping back into a slump of oblivion. Thank you to all my SR friends that keep me going daily.
Side note: does anyone have the app and is it worth it?

Wow you're amazing! Second sober birthday. You slipped and you were reminded why you quit and you intend to continue sobriety. Sounds pretty good to me. It's so easy to romanticize drinking but the truth is... Well you're recovering from the reminder right?
Good luck on the preg test
I have to say that I love the app. I look at these threads whenever I need to. I look in the morning, during breaks, and at night, and that's how often I'm reminded I'm not alone. I like it and recommend it
