A month today and I celebrated
 

Got four weeks down today, my celebration consisted of saying no to a coworker who asked me to go have a beer with him after work. I just plainly said I am not drinking alcohol anymore due to my health. Which is kind of true since I do have a medical condition, gout which is not good to have and you shouldn't drink alcohol with it and especially not beer. I didn't feel too bad about turning him down. It was pretty easy although it triggered a 30 minutes AV discussion in my head. I won today.

That is so awesome. Kudos to you for celebrating your one month of sobriety the way you did. You handled the situation perfectly.
