Golly gee jahosaphats this was a rough evening

Skipping along, singing the Sobriety Song (in Alto, soprano and second soprano) thinking "I got it made in the shade" and WHAM ! Out of absolute nowhere, cravings that made every second pass like an hour.

White knuckled the whole evening.

Never had a single intention to pick up, but my God, the urge was insistent. Even after I ate I couldn't get past it.

I knew eventually it would release its grip, and it did.

I'd like some sort of a badge of honor for this one. A Bozo button at least.

Phew.

Congrats on getting through it. And adding a bit more confidence for next time.

Way to fight it. My alcohol counselor said the average craving lasts 7 minutes. I call BS, I've had cravings last for hours.

Congratulations! :c011:

One thing you can do to keep your neurological pathway strong and vibrant is to set up a reward system. A sixty minute massage these days is 50 bucks tops. Do yourself a favor, give yourself a pat on the back, and treat yourself to one.

You've earned it. :)
