I am having vivid dreams of things in my pass from 30yrs ago which I really don't want to remember.. I had a horrible night.

This is stuff that drove me to drink.. I did pray to my higher power but I am feeling emotional this morning. Wish I could call off work today .

Oh well ... I know this shall pass as well.

Dreams are quite common after quiting.
Although it was a bad dream,at least you got a little REM sleep.
I had a few where I was at a local bar and was very drunk and couldn't find a ride home.
Could barely walk or talk and everyone ignored me.

Glad I woke safe and sound and not hungover in my bed.

There's a whole forum on this site dedicated to dreams.

I have them as well, Silvy69, and know how troubling they can be. I try to view them as my body is purging ...just like it did with alcohol. Sort of like your body is Re-setting. Hang in there!

The first two nights I had some really disturbing dreams. I don't remember them, but I woke up feeling like crap. A week in, its gotten better.
