Saturday first!
Saturday first!
After an afternoon of shopping, I was rushing home so hubby could go to work, and I had really wanted an ice coffee, but didn't have time to stop. I was bummed out until I realized I could bring my daughter out after dinner to get one.
Per-sobriety, I would again be rushing home, but from the bar instead, and once home I would not be able to go back out because I wouldn't drive with my daughter in the car after having 3+ glasses of wine. We would be home for the night.
This freedom to be able to go out with her both in our pajamas to the drive thru at the end of the day is so awesome! God I love being sober!

Thanks for that post Dollyangel, sobriety is FREEDOM!
Just posted today that it's so nice if I'm being invited during the week to do something on the weekend that I no longer have to ask what time because I already know if it's too early there's no way I'd make it. That and if it was too late in the day that it would take away from my drinking time so that was a no go too. I can say yes to anything that I want to now!
