In honor of a young mans passing

A few days ago, I saw many posts on Facebook about a young man passing from addiction. I worked with him a few years ago, and remember our conversations vividly. His family is grieving immensely. His ex-girlfriend of many years allowed me to enter her space via text, and has allowed me to be there for her. There are only a few that she will talk with, and I feel honored that she has opened up to me. She said that I understood his battle.
They had to severe the relationship due to Alcoholism.

It is tragic to see exactly what addiction can do to a family and all the people who loved the person that died from that addiction.
May peace finally be with this young man. I wish the family to heal and to recover.

I just wanted to share this because addiction effects everyone. So, today is in honor of the family and friends, but more importantly for this young man who has passed.

( It is hard to put into words)

Hi Mizzuno, My prayers are with you and the man's family. I applaud you for maintaining your sobriety thru grief. I also hope the man has now found peace.

So very sad. Our enemy wins far too often. Prayers to the family and you. Honor his memory by being victorious over this horrible disease.

So sad.
As we all know. Those chains of addiction can bind us and drag a person to an early grave. I know 3 people that this has happened to.
Break those chains, link by link.
