Day 6.
Awful night's sleep, so feel worse than day 5.
However I woke up sober on a Saturday mornning and that is a major result.
Off to the gym now to see if that can blow away some of the cobwebs.
Got a party to go to this afternoon where there will be loads of booze flying around. For some people I know it wouldn't be the best idea to go. But right now I feel more than strong enough to cope.
If I feel challenged later on I may decide to drive there to remove the temptation. There is no way I would ever drink and drive, never have done ande never will.

Congrats on day 6
Please be careful this afternoon.I only speak from experience and with support. Often I had felt strong and then the crave suddenly hit me from nowhere. It was totally unexpected, powerful and I was unable to cope with it as had not built up proper coping skills for such eventuality. So I drank.
Maybe examine your motives for going to a party where drink is flying so early on in sobriety? Driving isn't a failsafe mechanism. I would just drink and leave the car.
Yes I'm playing devil's advocate and by no means am I saying you don't know your own mind. Please be wary of the cravings as they do suddenly appear out of nowhere
