Pt.... I have plans to cook but don't typically figure it out until at the store or butcher to see what looks best. Stuffed pork chops keep ringing in my head. I was also considering beef and scallion rolls.

Hey there sober weekenders, count me in! Actually going to a sober get together with some members of my SOS group tonite, should be fun! First time my husband will be meeting a lot of them so curious to see how that goes.
Enjoy your weekend without regrets everyone!

Been a week today for me from alcohol and drugs, feelin pretty good, but usually once I start feeling good and productive is when I let my guard down feeling I "deserve" one. Goin to try and stay busy and get out to the mountains and the gym and feel good naturally. Hope I can keep it up this time. Thanks everyone for posting, this site has been truly helpful since I found it.

I am in too. Drinking has been on my mind a lot this week. The taste and the buzz. I don't know why. My life is not any more stressful than it normally is. I have been picking up new business and staffing but I am not flipping out. I am really bothered by it. It has been 10 months and I am still recovering from the damage done. Man, I have some nerve fantasizing about booze. My daughter flew in from Texas yesterday. This is the first time she has seen me since I stopped drinking. She is so happy about my sobriety. What is wrong with me?

Thanks for keeping this thread going, Ken and Riky!

I still don't know if I work Saturday or not, but I'll be sober no matter what.

The space weather forecast for this weekend calls for a chance of storms. Psychic tensions seem to rise when this happens, so stay positive everyone and direct all that energy in the right direction!

Hey weekenders, I'm here for another sober one

Tonight I'm going to clear out some junk to make room for some more junk lol!!

Feeling a little tired, negative and miserable today, can't seem to shake off the feeling, hoping a sober weekend perks up my mood.

Hey Dorris,
I have been tired and blue all week as well. I think Meteorologist Coldfusion may be right. A change in the weather. Funny though, gray skies usually make me happy.

ClimbHigh : Congratulations on the 1 week

escapist : It's a trick, our addictive voice will find any reason to get what it wants. Don't listen too it. Have a nice time with your daughter

Coldfusion : You've become a rock here on weekenders , solid ground. You've been very helpful to me and many

Dorris : Welcome back

I love this job , helping Weasel

I like to think of it as a team.

After I have been home from work for a bit, he will sit across from me and just stare at me. I believe he is trying to mind-meld with me. I am sure his thoughts are "park, park, park, ball, park, park, ball, park, park, park "

(oh crap, it's working.)

I'm in too. Made it halfway through day 15 yesterday and back at day 1 today. Not feeling like much of a winner, to say the least. ForThem--I feel that too, the anxiety and disappointment and crazy thoughts of wanting to drink to 'calm down' even though it was the drinking yesterday that has me feeling this way today. Together, we can get some space away from yesterday...let's move forward one day at a time.

Hello My Fellow Weekenders,
Ken, thanks for getting us started. TR, way to co-MC! I was jonesin' for this thread earlier this morning. :-) Work day is fine. Got a decent 7 hours of sleep last night. Looking forward to a calm weekend. Hope everybody is having a peaceful day/evening.

kadidee - You've got the right attitude. Yesterday and tomorrow don't exist. There is only today and you don't have to drink. Stay close. Pulling for you! hugs

Yours,
Cas
