1 week
So im officially 1 week sober. Finally broke down and saw my doc today. She put me on atarax and ativan. I guess both are to help with the anxiety and the atarax is also to help with cravings. Took one each a luttle bit ago, and for the first time in a week, I think I might be able to sleep. Which I dedperately need!!!!

Congratulations! One week is huge, that is 168 hours! Good on you for talking to a doctor, that takes a tremendous amount of courage that all of us here recognize. Now go get some of that sleep

hay great job for week 1. it this time was difficult for me. i had to take a antidepressant also for a while to get over the hump. but also i had to find something to occupy my mind or get my mind off things when i would normally drink at night. i took up new activities such as cooking more home made meals, relandscaped my yard. also i took up doing sudoku puzzles. so i hope to see the one month from you. good luck!
