24 hours

Hey all. I've seen all the great support many of you have given and its helped me focus on getting help. Even though an ex wife and many ex girlfriends have urged me to quit drinking, I was convinced it was their problem instead of mine. I'm not sure if I've been ( and perhaps Am) selfish or my addiction blinded me. Either way, last night I attended my first AA meeting. I made a lot of jokes about them before but that chip somehow came to symbolize this new path towards recovery. I wanted to introduce myself since I'll be here. I look forward to becoming a part of this great community and learning how to become a sober me through your help.
