I am a mess. I am 30 days sober after a relapse. I am in sober living and moved houses in mid month. This house feels safe and comfortable. I struggle in the mornings and only find peace at the end of the day when I can relax because I've made it through another day sober. I am hitting meetings every day. These seem to be helping me shift my thinking to play the tape and consider the consequences. I was doing extremely well prior to relapse. My boyfriend fell off the wagon then as a codependent followed him. I'm miserable and kicking myself. Anyway feeling like a loser.
I know this will pass but it feels like it will go on forever. Sober today.

If it makes you feel any better, I gave up alcohol for lent (ash wednesday to easter sunday ) the last two years before I gave it up altogether. Thus, 30 days is GREAT!
